Join practitioners, researchers, and performance leaders for a focused event built around practical ideas, meaningful conversation, and real-world application in sport science.
As a relatively young field, sport science is characterized by significant variation in practical constraints across different environments, each presenting its own unique challenges. By coming together, members can share how they've addressed these challenges in their respective contexts, fostering growth, collaboration, and continued progress for the field as a whole. Our mission is to unite professionals from diverse areas of sport science to exchange ideas and collectively advance the field. Our vision is bridging applied science and real-world application through collaboration and shared learning.
Join 150-175 sport performance professionals from across the industry. Expected attendees include 60% professional and collegiate staff, 25% academic and research professionals, 10% students and emerging professionals, and 5% performance technology companies.
After years in the field, we noticed two gaps. First, there were pockets of sport scientists working in applied settings that were searching for others to connect with outside of those around them, but there was a lack of opportunities to bring sport scientists together. Second, there was the lack of a central entity facilitating these opportunities to connect and providing quality resources to facilitate the growth and development of applied sport science practitioners.
